Groove Notify: Grooveshark play notifications for Linux

It's not that the default Grooveshark Notifications are bad. I just want my system to be consistent. So I decided to go in and write a little python script that will use the currentSong.txt file updated by Grooveshark Desktop and display a gorgeous notification. The album art is pulled from Amazon because it was convinient.

Groove Notify

Grab it with bazaar: bzr branch lp:groovenotify

For more information, visit the Groove Notify page in Launchpad.

I will be making this easier to install (deb package and PPA) soon.

Thanks! I could do that but I don't really own a mac to test with. I'll write up some code and you can tell me if it works ;)
