The One Ring, Google Voice for Telepath (Maemo devices and Empathy)
I wanted to take a moment and mention The One Ring. It's a project that caught my eye a few weeks back, after reading a post in the telepathy mailing list. Today Ed Page, the founder of the project, made the official announcement. "The One Ring is a plugin (Telepathy Connection Manager) that integrates Google Voice into Empathy, Maemo 4.1 RTComm, and Maemo 5 RTComm."The features include support for Google Voice contacts, sending and receiving calls to and from any number, text messaging, and much more.
